Our warranty process just got a whole lot simpler.
Starting July 1, 2019, GRIDSMART will implement an automatic warranty process. What does that mean? Your product warranty will automatically go into effect when your product is shipped. Gone are the days of activating your warranty online; we’re doing it for you!
In the past, customers had to retain the card that came in their product’s packaging, complete it with the necessary information, and mail it to GRIDSMART. Customers could also go online, visit the GRIDSMART website, locate the appropriate page, and fill in the required information.
Now, product warranties and the accessory warranty will automatically go into effect on the day of shipping. Products will be under warranty for 3 years and 90 days from the activation date, and the accessory warranty is covered for 3 years and 180 days. Customers who enjoy having added protection for their products will still be able to purchase an Extended 1, 2, or 3-year warranty for all products like they always have.
